Love

One thing I have learned in the past few months is nothing is more important then love.
Ultimately life without it seems void of fulfillment.
Travels and places seen, were empty at the end of the day without my bestfriend to share it with.
I am in love.
I would like to share that with the world. Because it is one of the most beautiful feelings I have ever experienced and in the end even though its too late now, I am glad to have felt it. To feel it.
To know that I love someone enough to care more about their happiness then my own and therefore accept the things I can not change.

places I have been

So Im making this list more for my own benefit hahaha.. having a sucky day- what better thing to do then lay out all the cool shit you have done in the past.

Soooo- my journey in 2009
Bsupreme- London
Breakin Convention- London, 9 cities in the UK, Scotland.
IBE- Rotterdam and Herlin.
Previous visits include:
Stockholm, Sweden
Helsinki, Finland
Conzumel, Mexico
Grand Caymen
Puerto Rico
and ofcourse Dominican Republic.
Lets not forget all the awesome places I have been to in the US i can proudly say I have been to most major cities and some minor ones. I have yet to visit the big ass lake by the white house though ( I did drive by it)
So I am 23 yrs old and I have been to 10 countries. 2 continents. and god knows how many cities that would take to long to count. I think thats pretty awesome!
Now lets keep adding!!
I promise when I figure out how to get my pics on my computer I will be posting some IBE pictures.
Next stop possibly UK bboy jams with a stop in one more euro country...hopefully.

Rotterdam

some might say plain.. but i like it.

There is a huge statue of a Santa Claus with a dildo..pics hopefully coming soon.

Rotterdam was bombed during world war 2 so theres not alot left. Amsterdam is said to be more authentic.

The people here are very hospitable and the dutch give you 3 kisses.. not the euro two.

workshop went well and I am extremely honored to represent the usa team.
another bgirl dream accomplished :)

Stepping up In 3d

My first feature film. I am a principle dancer, no speaking roles yet but Im working on it!. God knows how much these people pulled me back and forth on being in this movie. But I take it as an opportunity on the path to reaching the ultimate goal. Plus it was fun to film, dance and see friends. I just hate 5 am call times, but such is the life of professional film actors so I tell myself to get used to it. Still shooting for the next 3 days.
Heres a pic of me on stage waiting to "battle" with team France! aaah wi wi...mon nom et bon bon. hehehehe

Booked.

Its a nice feeling when your agent calls you congratulating you on a booking. Now- Can I get a speaking role? That would be awesome. Thanks.

leaving scotland...

A story to share..
Two nights ago before our show.. we met a boy named Lewis. He was 12, with a look that gave you the impression that he was wise beyond his years..yet smiling :) Blonde and handsome.
we were told that lewis is sick and terminal.
Yet he somehow finds the strength to get up and watch youtube videos and teach himself how to break.
He came to our show and wanted to meet all of us. We cypherd with him and the kid had windmills!!
I had to control myself and stop the tears from rolling about every other minute.
Lewis thank you for letting me see the beauty in the world and appreciate every second I had.
I left that room being greatful for every moment I get to dance, and we had our best show yet that night.
Its amazing what we take for granted and sometime even i forget that time is precious and every moment is a gift. Every movement is precious.
Love LIFE.

Scotland.

I am overwhelmed at the beauty of Edinburgh..
Scotland is amazing..green?? heck yes!
From the greenery to the beach and the steep cliffs that tower over them
The castles are amazing..the architecture is from another lifetime.

The people are wonderful.
If you ever come to edinburgh i highly suggest eating at "a touch of thai", some of the most amazing food and deco ever..

Today I saw a rainbow..it went over an enormous green yellow flower filled hill..coming through the cloudy skies right over the beach. When I looked the other way I saw Scotlands beautiful rooftops and one of their castles cast a top another large cliff. I thought to myself "I never thought I would actually see this..." its like a picture out of a book. It is now the screen saver on my phone..lol..

I am so greatful for lifes blessings.. I truly prayed to see the world and slowly that dream is coming true. I dont know how many times I can say it but thank you universe for filling life with so many beautiful places and things to see..

Scotland is ill!

-----------------------
ps. pics will be up soon...i dont have a camera so i took alot w my phone and other peeps cams ( i will collect and post some soon) especially my scotland ones!

Bradford, England

Once again a cobblestone filled town and buildings older then I can imagine.

Last night one of my friends on the tour whom I have grown close to showed me her tattoo which said : Love life.. my motto for the past couple of months.. yay :)

I see amazing things in the Uk but I am overwhelmed by the amazing positive energy and hospitality. It is great to see people whose love for this dance brings out the best in them and in turn the best in me/us.

Bradford is a small town with a population of less then 50,000 people and has been compared to cities like Helsinki, Finland. Having been to finland I can see the comparison but would have to say they both have very unique auras.

Show tommorrow and then were off to the next city the next day.

Big shouts to the bboys of Bradford: I feel so happy and greatful for the amazing atmosphere provided thus far.
peace+love.

Birmingham, England

best after party ever...

amazing energy...

beautiful smiles.

love life.

London Day 2

So I went to the jam after being woken up like 5 times..
It was fun, cyphered and judged and was immediately in awe of how ill some of the bboys and bgirls in london.
I got outside and got some pics :)
So the next day due to jet lag I slept in til 4pm..
making me extremely late for the battle and I got there right before.
No time to warm up, and I was embarrrasssed..
This trip/battle became a wake up call, I have to get on point with my dancing again.
It made me realize how much I have neglected my passion.
Sometimes you focus so much on pleasing others and doing things "right" that you neglect yourself and your dreams.
I vowed to return home and train hard!
I also was extremely glad I got to meet some amazing bgirls and was inspired!the bgirls..mad inspiration
I was able to get a preview of life in London for the month of May- which I will be in London for one month. Its going to be interesting...
I am just glad I am going in May and wont be experiencing too much of the gloomy weather..
ok so here are some flics :)

The Palace
long live the queen
london mail box
Our hotel

it smelled in there

London Day 1

Holy Crap.
Jet lag is a BIATCH. All I could think of when I arrived was sleeeeeeeeeeeeeep.
London weather= gloomy. rainy and barely a glimpse of sun....
I was greeted by a really nice lady by the name of Judy and finally came out of my trance when she had to repeat 3 times.."hey the passenger side of the car is on the other side"- (with her lovely british acccent).
After this I turned into the tourist.. aaaah I finally got to see what driving on the other side was like! lol..i squealed..and she seemed amused by how the little things got me excited.
we picked up my newest favorite bgirl (Bgirl Nadia from Russia) shes NASTY. a nice girl, exactly my age and always smiling------ and off we went!
she was such an awesome host that we drove by the castle, big ben and a couple of strips of cool london things.
Then the perk.. getting up to my room to meet with my roomates Bgirl Macca and Lex my Philly home girls.
We had such an ILL room! it was like an apartment complete with a kitchen, living room, HUGE bathroom and a KING size bed! wooooohooooo!!
after this i introduced myself to the bed and slept like a baby......this all at 930am lol...there was a cypher waiting for us at 2 as well as a Bonnie and CLyde I was judging with Rocafella...
but Ill write more about that later.

Pictures will be posted later..as well as day 2 and 3.
but I will say now- thank Gawd for Per diem cuz London is PRICEY.

London

So I have this list of places I want to go...
I will share some with you:
Spain (come on Im spanish)
Italy (Im a quarter Italian)
Greece (blue water)
Amsterdam (fun times all around)
Australia
New Zealand
Paris (romance and the eiffel tower)
Ireland
Africa
Egypt (have to see the pyramids)
Brazil
Thailand
and theres alot more...
but truthfully I just want to see the whole world.. see how others live and hows the sunsets look beautiful no matter where you go. I even have a US list.
I am here at the airport, on my way to london. (watching the hot flight attendants board the plane, they wear bright red on virgin and somehow they make it look classy.)
I am so excited to add another place to my list.
Oddly I cant wait to be in one of those red phone booths hahaha. I know I am a weirdo.
I am so greatful for my US passport. I can atleast thank america for that. The freedom to see any place I want without being hassled anymore.
I am going to dance my little heart out this weekend.
So theres one of my dreams on the way to being completed.. See London and take a pic with Big ben and the stiff security gaurds.
So for now I say - Cheerio!

The dream began long ago. When I was Just a little girl.. and everyday it gets closer. But I have learned you cant wait for it. You have to fight for it...
